Thanvi Voruganti is publishing her newest poetry book,”Shades of Blue,” and I am honored to have drawn illustrations for her book! While her book is not yet published, here is a sneak peak into some of the artwork!
Updates for the New Year!
We’re currently continuing our art classes at ASA Now while raising funds through art classes. I am currently planning on working on a mural at a local new restuarant and an illustration in a children’s poetry book! I hope the new year brings everyone nothing but happiness!
Live Painting at Art One Gallery
Art One Gallery hosted the “Pup Art” fundraiser for the Two Pups Wellness Fund and Art One Foundation! There was amazing food, an art auction, live painting, live music, and on-site dog adoption! I participated in the event as one of the two live painters. It was a wonderful event and huge success!
Fundraiser updates
We’ve been working with ASA Now for the past month to hold art workshops and get sponsorships, reaching half of our final goal. Towards the end of the fundraiser we will be holding our art show, featuring all our of young talented students and the wonderful staff at ASA Now. Fostering Creativity for Foster Care
We are starting our new fundraiser this week! EaselArts is partnering with ASA Now in order to raise funds for community service in foster care along with advocating for the arts. New Years!
Happy New Years! This year, we are planning to further expand our outreach through more volunteering and advocacy for the arts. We have increased our fundraising goal for this year and are looking forward to continue to encourage the youth to express themselves and use art as a creative outlet. Currently I am working on a new portfolio with a central theme of resonance. Follow our social media accounts to know more about what we’re up to along with some art tips. :)
Online Classes
Because of COVID-19, unfortunately, art classes have been moved online on zoom. Instead of focusing on competitions and getting art done, we’re using this time to teach students the basics again and step by step tutorials in order for them to learn how to independently create art.
